Macchie
A single vine from a single vineyard
Macchie is the maximum expression of love and respect for the tradition of rural life and Tuscan culture. The grapes come from the small vineyard, "Osteria delle Macchie", which has an extension of 2.3 hectares located on a hill exposed to the south-east. Macchie is obtained from the selection of the best Sangiovese.
In the glass the wine shows an intense ruby red color. Deep and intense at the smell, with aromas of ripe fruit. It initially presents itself with a robust body and is followed by particular elegance and complexity, presenting a mix of black fruits and a hint of spice. In the mouth it is thin and round, with a persistent aftertaste. It is a young wine to drink, although it evolves constantly and is excellent to serve even in the next 10-12 years.
